The capabilities and competences of our Merchant department can be found in over 12.000 vessels worldwide. The vast number of vessels with our solutions covers system and equipment delivery for several types of vessels, including bulk carriers, container vessels, car carriers, LPG/LNG carriers and many others.

Our experienced staff follows the project from the sales phase over design, engineering and project management to final handover. We handle projects ranging from simple equipment deliveries to the most complex projects with stringent requirements. No matter the complexity, we strive to provide equipment for lifetime use with reduced maintenance.

Retrofit

The fleet within the the Merchant segment is known to be relatively old, which is why it is very common to have retrofit projects for Merchant vessels, ranging from simple equipment delivery to extensive projects with engineering, installation and much more.
Retrofit projects can occasionally be complicated if done while the vessel is active, which is why we have a broad network of agents and internal service engineers ready to assist with projects worldwide.
