Exciting new projects

Once again, Novenco has been awarded with orders for two new and interesting projects.

Research Vessel
Armon Shipyards in Spain builds a research vessel for the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The vessel, which will be suitable for virtually all types of marine research and environmental monitoring, is expected to be operational during spring 2019. You can read more about the vessel here.

The competition within this project was very hard, but after many technical evaluations both ship owner and ship yard selected Novenco as supplier for this prestigious project. We will deliver complete HVAC plants for chilled water with cooling and energy friendly solutions. Special care is taken for sophisticated ventilation of laboratories.

Fjord Line upgrades
Fosen yard in Norway will handle the upgrades of the Fjord Line ferries MS Bergensfjord and MS Stavangerfjord, which are sailing between Bergen in Norway and Hirtshals in Denmark. The capacity on both vessels will be increased with 20%, which gives about 60 extra cabins on each vessel.

Novenco was selected as supplier of the HVAC system for the new 10th deck of the vessels. Both vessels already have Novenco equipment on board.
