HVAC for trawlers

The Spanish shipyard, Astilleros de Murueta, will be building two Arctic freeze trawlers for Royal Greenland, which is one of the worlds leading suppliers of fish and shellfish.

Novenco HVAC equipment
Novenco Marine & Offshore will be delivering the complete HVAC system comprising AHU’s, DX-Condensing units, Ducting, Cabin units and fans in addition to hot water radiators for accommodation and wheelhouse. We will also provide NovPac self-contained units, fans and hot water fan heaters for technical area.

Furthermore, we will handle design, engineering and commissioning of the HVAC systems for equipment supplied by us.

Arctic freeze trawlers
One vessel will be built for shrimping and the other vessel to target ground fish. The shrimp trawler will be 82.30 meters long, accommodate up to 30 crew and has a freezing capability of 90 tons per day. The ground fish vessel will have a length of 82.05 meters, accommodate up to 43 crew and 120 tons freezing capacity per day.
